Two Secret Islands
News traveled quickly through Aden of a pair of villagers from Woodbec who had discovered the remains of a small wrecked ship on a nearby beach. The ship had evidently dashed up against a rocky outcrop during a violent storm the previous night, shattering it completely and leaving its splintered remnants scattered all along the shore. The villagers found one survivor, a severely injured man who described a perilous journey through corridors of thick mist and choking smoke before coming upon two mysterious islands, one populated by seemingly benign rabbits, the other with ferocious creatures of all types never before encountered in one single area. Unfortunately, the survivor was unable to divulge even the general location of the islands before he succumbed to his injuries.
Soon thereafter, a strange mysterious old man in Giran appeared, telling tales of these secret islands and how crafty adventurers may gain access to them: by rampant slaughter of the rabbits on the first island may one be able to move beyond to the second. Apparently, a great deal of carrots is involved. Adventurers can only accomplish this feat by questioning and carefully conversing with the mysterious old man as a start. He has also made it known that new treasures await those who brave the islands successfully...
The 2007 "Sprummer" Event Notes
- The Sercet Islands Event will start Wednesday, July 11 at 2PM CDT and end two weeks after, on July 25 at 1PM CDT.
- Two new islands have been added to the world of Aden for this event. Speak with the Mysterious Old Man in Giran Square for more information. Be careful, he is very specific and very sensitive. Do exactly what he says.
- Island 1:
- Kill Fluffy Bunnies on Island 1 to collect carrot parts. Use the parts to craft your own cloak of freedom and to gain access to Island 2.
- Island 2:
- Some of Aden’s most dangerous creatures have all gathered in the same place. Bring some friends and watch your back.
