PTS will be brought down at 2pm Pacific / 4pm Central / 5pm Eastern / 9pm GMT to make adjustments to the event. Approximate downtime is one hour.
The following changes have been made:
- Potential amount of dwarfs available to spawn has been increased. Please note - spawn is generated by footsteps. If you are standing around hoping a dwarf will wander by, you aren't generating spawn. If you are random teleporting around, you are also not generating spawn. Some people complained that FV was crowded. ALL of the mainland areas have the same probability to spawn the dwarfs. But if 15 people are hunting FV, more dwarfs will be spawned there (more footsteps). You can hunt in an a less crowded area, just walk around for a few minutes and dwarfs will be generated in any area on the mainland that you choose.
- The evil sorcerer has decided to try to rebuild his army. If you bring him branches and apples, you can exchange these for a "red container" - these include different goodies than the "white containers." (yes there are fireworks!)
- Many people felt that the Giant Imposters were a little too difficult to kill. Some adjustments were made to address this issue but these are intended to be the higher level event monsters. More of the lower level ones spawn, so if the higher level ones are still too difficult for you, there should still be plenty of lower levels one available.
